I am an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Lehigh University.

Previously, I was a post-doctoral research associate in the Education Policy Innovation Collaborative at Michigan State University, and earned my Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Arkansas.

My work focuses on policies affecting educational equity and opportunity.


As a former high school math teacher, I became driven to learn about policies that affect educational opportunities for students, regardless of personal background or personal characteristics. This passion for equity has led to a research agenda focused on:
